To humans, truly random events do not feel random.

On October 23, 2001, Steve Jobs introduced the iPod as a music player that “holds 1,000 songs in your pocket”

It quickly became Apple's biggest hit. 

Also, the iPod ended popularizing one of iTunes best features, the shuffle feature.
